Modern Slavery Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Modern Slavery Policy outlines Eve’s commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and the steps we have in place to ensure that these practices do not occur in our business or supply chains. This policy applies to all individuals working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, directors, officers, agency workers, contractors, consultants, and any other third-party representatives.

2. Policy Statement

Eve recognises the importance of maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. Furthermore, we implement and enforce systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our own business or in any of our supply chains.

3. Compliance with Legislation

We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (or equivalent legislation). We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners.

4. Responsibility for the Policy

  • Responsibility: Compliance with this policy is the responsibility of all those under our control. Management at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with this policy.
  • Training: We will provide training on this policy and on the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chains.

5. Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have systems in place to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Protect whistle blowers.

6. Supplier Adherence to Our Values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we have in place a supply chain compliance program. This includes vetting new suppliers and reviewing existing ones.

7. Reporting Concerns

Anyone concerned about any signs of modern slavery or human trafficking in any parts of our business or supply chains is encouraged to raise concerns without fear of retaliation, using our established reporting mechanisms.

8. Breaches of This Policy

Any employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct. We may terminate our relationship with other individuals and organisations working on our behalf if they breach this policy.
